Do you have an idea or a solution to address the water and climate challenges in Africa? Then we invite you to create an AfriAlliance Action Group. An Action Group (also commonly referred to as a Working Group or a Community of Practice) will provide seed-money to bring together relevant stakeholders (both African and European), experts and/or decision makers to jointly engage in project development, knowledge creation and sharing on one specific issue among the following themes:
- Integrated Water Resource Management
- Food Security / Agriculture
- Human Capacity Development
- Climate Change Adaptation and Mitigation
- Water and Climate Data monitoring collection forecasting and analysis
The Terms of references, which include these themes and further sub-themes, also detail what would be expected of an Action Group, the application process, the eligibility criteria and the funding available are available on the AfriAlliance website together with the application form
You can apply to create an AfriAlliance Action Group any time before the 31st of July 2016.
