International Relations in the Water Sector

At the recent meeting of the working group on International Relations  in the Water Sector, David Smith of WE&B was elected to co-chair the group together with Gaetano Casale of UNESCO-IHE.  WE&B will lead the pillar on Bringing Knowledge to Business 

The Working Group on International Relations in the Water Sector will address the strategic task of establishing effective mechanisms of knowledge sharing between the EU and the countries or regions outside of the EU, and more specifically to identify specific joint cooperation activities with regional hubs, as well as common specific research objectives, and in particular potential points of focus of research advancements and business and market opportunities in certain areas of water management in each non-EU regions.
