The purpose of the independent evaluation was to assess the outcomes of GGGI’s Peru Country Program, covering activities from 2013 to 2018, and to identify lessons that can enhance the effectiveness of current and future programs in Peru and potentially other regions. Special focus was placed on evaluating the achievement of the program’s desired outcomes and identifying both limiting and enabling factors that influence the production of expected results.
The target audience for this evaluation included GGGI’s Peru country team, as well as relevant units at GGGI HQ that managed policies and systems affecting country programming, operations, and overall effectiveness.
Under the Project, WE&B successfully developed/delivered the following services:
• Defined the methodologies and evaluation instruments for data collection.
• Conducted both quantitative and qualitative data collection, including in-field interviews.
• Reviewed and analyzed the collected data.
• Prepared a draft evaluation report.
• Incorporated feedback and developed the final report and presentation slides.
• Assisted in preparing the presentation of the evaluation report for GGGI management/staff.
• Supported the preparation of the presentation of the evaluation report for the Evaluation Advisory Group.
