The ValEUr-Gabes project aims to develop actions based on the City Development Strategy (SDV) and address the severe water deficit facing the city of Gabes. Gabes is currently experiencing an acute water shortage, which significantly threatens the area’s economic development.
The assignment, Diagnostic Study on non-conventional water resources and definition of a Municipal Management Plan for non-conventional water resources (PGRENC Plan) in Gabes – Tunisia, focuses on identifying future development models for the municipality, considering the management and development of water resources and their sustainable use in response to the major climate and water challenges faced by Gabes and the surrounding region. The goal is to propose solutions that can ensure water security, support sustainable development, and enhance the resilience of the local community to ongoing and future environmental pressures.
