Donation Refund Policy

At Water, Environment and Beyond (WE&B), we deeply appreciate the generosity of our donors, as your contributions enable us to carry out our mission. We recognize that there may be situations where a donor may need to request a refund. This policy outlines the conditions under which refunds may be granted.
1. Eligibility for Refunds
Donations made to WE&B are generally non-refundable. However, we may consider refund requests in the following circumstances:
The donation was made in error (e.g., incorrect amount or duplicate transaction).
The donor’s payment information was used fraudulently or without their authorization.
The donor intended to donate to a different organization but mistakenly contributed to WE&B.
A technical error resulted in an unintended payment.
Refunds will not be provided if:
The donor simply changes their mind after making a donation.
The donated funds have already been allocated to a specific project or initiative.
The donation was made more than 30 days prior to the refund request.
2. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, please contact us within 30 days of the donation date by sending an email to info@weandb.org with the following details:
Full name and contact information
Date and amount of the donation
Payment method used (credit card or Bizum)
Reason for the refund request
Any relevant transaction details or receipts
Once received, we will review the request and respond within 10 business days.
3. Processing of Refunds
Approved refunds will be issued via the original payment method whenever possible.
Processing times may vary depending on the payment provider, but refunds typically take 5–10 business days to reflect in the donor’s account.
Any transaction fees incurred during the donation process may be non-refundable.
