Ms. Miriam Thiemann has a Bachelor Degree in Social Economics (2018) with a focus on Social Empirical Methods and Sustainability Management from the Friedrich-Alexander University of Nuremberg-Erlangen in Germany. She is now at the end of her Master’s Studies in Global Change Ecology (2021) at the University of Bayreuth (Germany), concentrating on social dimensions of global change. During her studies, Miriam has become an active part of her study community, engaging as board member of the student council and co-leading the program’s alumni association. In the scope of her master thesis, she has collected and analyzed data on the perceptions of ecosystem services by multiple stakeholders in Bavaria, Germany. Miriam has worked for one year in Peru within the voluntary service program by the German Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development. In 2021, she has joined WE&B as a Junior Socio-Environmental Consultant.
