Description

The Transfer and capitalisation of green circular economy practices (UfM) project has the objective to prepare and moderate training workshops, to be held remotely in the form of 2 webinars. As part of the activities the assignment has to identify topics that will be addressed in the webinar, taking into account that the linkages between food systems, eco-innovation, and waste management. The assignment includes the development of the training format and agenda, identifying and inviting potential speakers and determining the tools to be used during the training to enhance interest and engagement. The training workshop was held twice, in July and November 2021. The endeavour to shift to a circular economy is complex and might have an overwhelming effect on individual actors. The activities of the assignment would thus seek to make the topic more accessible through the training workshops, and to make action seem more feasible for concerned actors by enhancing collaboration amongst them.

Services provided by WE&B

WE&B undertook a literature research and analysis to define the topics of the two training workshops. Together with UfM, WE&B identified the key speakers and assistants. To ensure an engaging and informative webinar, WE&B prepared a training pack that was distributed to all participants. Finally WE&B provided support in the transfer and capitalisation of activities by facilitating new collaborations among actors interested in the uptake of the training contents.
