WE&B was part of the panel on “Current and Future Situation of Water in Mexico” at the International Green Alternatives Forum in Morelos, Mexico. Participating in the panel were Ramón Aguirre Díaz, director of the Water System in Mexico City; Felipe Arreguín Díaz Cortes, director general of the Mexican Institute of Water Technology (IMTA) and David Smith the director of WE&B who gave a diagnosis of water supply in Mexico.

Mexico has severe problems of natural availability of water, which has been drastically reduced for a number of reasons, including rural-to-urban migration – where there is less water, climate change, water scarcity in some places, while in others , floods.
